Climax Golden Twins Have created material for radio (National Public Radio in the USA, Resonance FM’s One Hour As), for film (Session Nine, The Mangler Reborn), for television (the Discovery Channel’s People and Arts) and for performances that feature projections, found objects, broken down guitars, Victrolas, 78rpm records, field recordings, punk rock wipeouts, and electro-acoustic meat-rendering. Their work has been featured in festivals and on numerous albums and compilations and tends to be about texture, layering and subtlety except when it is not. Recent work has also involved installations in both galleries and museums, including the recent Ten Years of Music and Design Climax Golden Twins retrospective at Priceless Works Gallery and Talking Machine created for the Seattle Bumbershoot Arts Festival exhibition In Resonance. Their most recent full length is entitled Highly Bred and Sweetly Tempered and is on North East Indie and a minicd for The Bside Project on Testing ground.
